Draft — needs legal review before launch

This is a first draft written to describe how PDFZyro works today. It is not legal advice and is not yet in force. Items marked [OWNER REVIEW] need a decision from PDFZyro's owner and a lawyer's review.

These terms are the agreement between you and PDFZyro for using the PDFZyro website and app. By creating an account or using PDFZyro you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

1. About these terms

PDFZyro is provided by [OWNER REVIEW: legal name and registered address of the company or person running PDFZyro] ("PDFZyro", "we", "us"). If you use PDFZyro for an organization, you accept these terms for it and confirm you're allowed to.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least [OWNER REVIEW: minimum age] and give accurate information when you sign up.
  • Keep your password safe and turn on two-factor authentication if you can. You're responsible for what happens in your account; tell us at indusmedline@gmail.com if you think someone else got in.
  • One person per account. Don't share your sign-in with others.

3. Your documents stay yours

You keep all rights to the documents and information you put into PDFZyro. You give us only the permission we need to store, process and display them to provide the service to you and to the people you choose to share them with (for example recipients of an agreement). We don't use your documents for anything else, and we don't use them to train AI.

You're responsible for your documents: that you have the right to upload and share them, and that they don't break the law or anyone else's rights.

4. Acceptable use

Please don't use PDFZyro to:

  • break the law, or help anyone else do so (including fraud and forging signatures);
  • upload malware, or content that infringes someone's copyright or privacy;
  • harass people, or send spam through signature requests;
  • try to get into other people's accounts or documents, test or break our security without permission, or overload the service (for example with automated mass requests);
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and will tell you why where we can.

To protect everyone, there are daily limits on how many emails and text messages PDFZyro sends to other people for one account (more for paid and established accounts; contact support if you need more), and signing in is paused for a short time after many wrong passwords.

Reporting abuse. Anyone who receives a shared document or a signing request can report it with the Report abuse link on that page. We review reports, and may pause a link that several people reported while we do, turn links off, or suspend the account that shared the content. [OWNER REVIEW: review times, whether and how the account owner is told and can appeal, and a copyright (DMCA) notice-and-takedown process with a designated agent (open question 76)]

5. Electronic signatures

PDFZyro lets you sign documents and ask others to sign. We record an audit trail (who, when, how they were identified, from which IP address and browser) and seal finished documents so changes can be detected, and we issue a certificate of completion.

You're responsible for deciding whether an electronic signature is suitable for your document and for checking the identity of the people you ask to sign. Some documents (for example wills or certain court and property documents in some countries) may need a different kind of signature. PDFZyro doesn't give legal advice. [OWNER REVIEW: confirm the ESIGN/UETA (and, if relevant, eIDAS) wording and the consumer disclosure (open questions 15 and 19)]

6. AI features

The AI assistant can be wrong. Check important answers against the document (answers show the pages they come from). It only runs after you agree to how it works, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Plans, payments and cancelling

PDFZyro has a free plan and paid plans, described on the pricing page. Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep paid features until the end of the period you've paid for.

The free Pro trial lasts 7 days, needs no card and is available once per account; if no card is added by its end, the account returns to the Free plan. Business is priced per seat (at least 2); seats added during a period are charged pro rata. If a payment fails, paid features continue for 7 days while it is retried. Moving to a smaller plan never deletes your documents: above a limit you can still open, download and delete them. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Day Pass and Week Pass. A pass is a one-time purchase that gives the Pro features for your own documents for 24 hours (Day Pass) or 7 days (Week Pass) from the moment it is paid, with the fair-use caps shown on the pricing page (for example a maximum number of signature requests per pass). It does not renew and you are not charged again; your card is not kept for later payments. A pass bought while another is active starts when that one ends. Passes are personal: they don't include team or Business features. When a pass ends your documents stay and the Free plan's limits apply again. [OWNER REVIEW: refunds for passes (suggested: a pass can be refunded within 24 hours of purchase if it was barely used; a refund ends the pass at once), whether unused time is refunded, and consumer withdrawal rights in your markets (open questions 41 and 81)]

[OWNER REVIEW: refund policy (the pricing page currently says to contact us within 14 days of a payment; open question 41), taxes, price changes and notice, what happens at the end of a free trial, and the limits of each plan]

8. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep PDFZyro available and your documents safe, but we can't promise the service will never be interrupted. Keep your own copies of important documents (Privacy & security → Download my data makes a complete copy). We may change or improve features; if we stop offering something important you pay for, we'll tell you in advance. [OWNER REVIEW: service level or uptime commitments, if any (e.g. for Business and Enterprise)]

9. Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time in Privacy & security → Delete account. This permanently deletes your documents and data as described in the Privacy Policy; agreements still out for signature are cancelled. Download your data first if you want to keep it. We may close accounts that break these terms, or that have been inactive for a long time after warning you by email. [OWNER REVIEW: inactive-account policy, if any]

10. Warranties and liability

PDFZyro is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to [OWNER REVIEW: the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, or another cap]. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by law. [OWNER REVIEW: warranty disclaimer and liability wording for each market]

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of [OWNER REVIEW: country / state], and disputes go to the courts of [OWNER REVIEW: place], unless the law where you live as a consumer says otherwise. [OWNER REVIEW: arbitration or small-claims wording, if wanted]

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll show the date at the top, and tell you by email or in the app before significant changes take effect. If you don't agree, you can close your account.
