Convert PPT to PDF: PowerPoint slides as PDF pages

Send a presentation anyone can open, on any device, without PowerPoint. Each slide becomes one page of the PDF with its text, pictures, charts and layout, so the deck looks the way you designed it when people read it or print it.

Free plan with no time limit. Pro free for 7 days, no card needed.

How to convert PowerPoint to PDF

  1. Upload the presentation

Open Office to PDF and choose your .pptx or .ppt file. PowerPoint shows (.ppsx), templates (.potx) and OpenDocument presentations (.odp) work too.

  2. Convert

Click Convert to PDF. The conversion runs in the background, so you can keep working while it finishes.

  3. Use your PDF

The PDF is saved in your library: download it, share it, add page numbers or send it for signature.

Slides that travel well

  • One slide per page

Every slide becomes a page of the PDF, in order, in the slide's own shape, such as 16:9 widescreen.

  • Looks the same everywhere

Text, pictures, charts and shapes are drawn into the PDF, so the deck no longer depends on the version of PowerPoint or the fonts on the reader's computer.

  • Several decks at once

Convert up to 50 presentations in one go; each becomes its own PDF. Merge them afterwards if you want a single handout.

  • Macros refused

Presentations that contain macros, such as .pptm files, are refused so no hidden code can run during the conversion. Save a copy as .pptx first.

  • Smaller files for email

Decks full of large photos make big PDFs. Compress PDF shrinks them for email after converting.

Private by design

  • Encrypted and private

Every file is encrypted before it's stored, and only you and the people you share with can open it.

  • Your original stays safe

Every change is saved as a new version. The original is never changed, and you can restore it at any time.

  • No watermarks

Files you save never get a watermark, on any plan, including the free one.

  • Works in your browser

Nothing to install. Use it on Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebooks, iPhone, iPad and Android.

Questions and answers

How do I convert a PPT to PDF?

Open Office to PDF in PDFZyro, upload the .ppt or .pptx file and click Convert to PDF. The PDF is saved to your library, ready to download or share.

Are speaker notes, animations and videos included?

The PDF shows each slide as it looks when it stands still: animations and transitions don't play in a PDF, and videos and sounds aren't included. Speaker notes aren't added to the pages.

Will my fonts look the same?

Common fonts are used as they are. If the deck uses a font the converter doesn't have, a similar font takes its place, which can move text slightly, so look over the PDF before you send it.

Can I convert a PDF back to PowerPoint?

Yes. PDF to PowerPoint makes a .pptx with one slide per page and the text in editable text boxes.

Can I put several presentations into one PDF?

Convert them together, then use Merge PDF to combine the PDFs in the order you want. Each deck gets a bookmark with its name.

Is PowerPoint to PDF free?

Yes. The Free plan includes 3 edit, convert, compress or OCR tasks a day, with files up to 50 MB, and never adds a watermark. Pro removes the daily limit and is free to try for 7 days, with no card needed.

Share the deck, not the PowerPoint file
