How do I convert Excel to PDF?

Why is my spreadsheet split across several pages?
A sheet wider than the paper is printed over several pages, just as it would be from Excel. In Excel's Page Setup, choose landscape or fit the sheet to 1 page wide, save the workbook and convert it again.
Can I convert just part of a sheet?
Yes. In Excel, select the cells you want, set them as the print area (Page Layout, Print Area) and save the workbook. Only that range goes into the PDF.
Can I convert a workbook with macros?
Not as it is: files with macros are refused so that no hidden code can run during the conversion. Save a copy as .xlsx in Excel and upload that.
Can I turn the PDF back into Excel?
