Do I need an account?
No. The signature generator at the top of this page works without an account, right in your browser: nothing you type or draw is uploaded or saved. Create a free PDFZyro account when you want to sign PDFs, keep your signature for next time, or send documents for e-signature.
Is a signature image legally binding?
A picture of your signature is not, on its own, an electronic signature with the evidence behind it. In the United States, the ESIGN Act and UETA recognize electronic signatures for most documents, but if a signature is questioned you need to show who signed, that they agreed to sign electronically and that the document hasn't changed since. A pasted image shows none of that. For agreements, use PDFZyro's e-signature: signers agree to sign electronically, every step is recorded in an audit trail, and the final PDF is sealed so any change can be detected. Some documents, such as wills, have special rules. This is general information, not legal advice.
Can I sign a PDF with it?
Yes.
